Our Story 💙
 

Two Sisters. One Dream.
 

Mak-Metics started with two sisters who wanted to create something special together.
 

We're Julie and Stacey, sisters and the faces behind Mak-Metics! What started with our family-owned compounding pharmacy, Mak Compounding Lab, grew into something we never quite expected — our very own skincare, bath, and body collection.

And if you've ever wondered where the name Mak comes from, it's actually a little piece of our family history! Our maiden name is Makelainen, so when it came time to name our businesses, we wanted to carry a part of our family with us. That's how Mak became part of our story.
 

With Stacey's 20+ years of experience as a pharmacist and Julie's love for the creative side of things, we decided to take what we know, add a little inspiration from Korean skincare, and create products we'd be excited to use ourselves.
 

From facial serums and moisturizers to body oils and bath soaks, each product is thoughtfully made with ingredients we carefully select and a whole lot of heart.

But Mak-Metics is about more than skincare.

It's about finding a few minutes in your busy day to do something for yourself. Whether that's a full skincare routine or simply putting on your favorite moisturizer before bed, we believe those little moments matter.
 

We're not a big skincare company. We're two sisters, juggling families, businesses, and everyday life, who genuinely love what we're creating.
 

And knowing that something we made might become part of your daily routine? That's pretty special to us.
